Customer Review: Could be a better design
Summary: 3 Stars
First off, the lanyard is useless. No one should ever use this thing to time track and field events. I like the ease of dialing in the time I want with the rotary dial, but the start/stop and clear buttons are too easy to accidentally hit. The magnets are plenty strong to hold this thing to your fridge, so that's good. It seems like it's 2-3 times thicker than is actually required, though. I like the fact it also has a stopwatch feature, but I wish the stopwatch feature automatically started once the timer finished so you know how long your cake's been cooking while you ignored the alarm.
Overall, it's a great concept and the digital accuracy makes it better than old-fashioned egg timers. If I could go back, though, I would have rather purchased a standard digital kitchen timer.
